PostSubject: Official NFL Football Thread 2007   Fri Aug 03, 2007 6:30 am

Football season is almost here, so I figured I'd make this thread a sticky just to save time. I know this is gonna be a heated thread in no time and I'm gonna get bashed a lot.

Earlier today I went out to see the Ravens' training and now I'm superpumped about the upcoming season.

So um....any thoughts?

Cowboys took it to the Colts last night 23-10. Even though it was just a preseason game it was still funny.

I'm extremely pissed.

The NFL Network and Time Warner won't come to an agreement, and currently there is no package for the NFL available. Time Warner gives you MLB, NBA, MLS, and NHL packages, but no football package, so I can only watch 3-4 games a week. I just got a DVR and was expecting to record every game so I can watch them all, but nope, ain't happening. I guess I'll just get the NBA package in November.

Rohrya, um, your Eagles looked terrible tonight.

Baltimore wins 29-3? I expected more from them.

Simply watching a preseason game doesn't mean we'll do terrible in the regular season. Although I was hoping that McNabb would actually get on the field.

I was really disappointed with the Saints in their last game, I thought for a team who was one game away from making the Superbowl they would've gotten at least 21 points.

I don't believe we made all of those turnovers in that one game last night. So unhappy still.

There's four games I'm gonna be watching today:

Arizona @ Baltimore
NYG @ Washington
Cincinatti @ Seattle
Dallas @ Chicago

It's looking pretty good for Baltimore right now. Anyone watching?

I'm not sure if anyone's noticed but the Eagles have some pretty good looking uniforms on.

Chicago at Green Bay

Baltimore at San Francisco

Cleveland at New England

Detroit at Washington

The only games I'm watching today. And I can bet that Green Bay will win their game, no offense Bears fans Wink

And by the way we probably should've kept Jamal.

Woohoo for the Giants. I knew we'd make a comeback bounce

And how in the hell does Denver lose that badly at home to San Diego?

Terrible playing.

And my faith in the Bears has finally been restored now that they've finally beaten the Packers.

Someone should keep an eye on the Chicago-Minnesota game please.

I bet Baltimore is going to own St. Louis: the Rams may have a better record than us when we play them but they absolutely suck this year.

I want Dallas to win their game but let's be real, the Pats win.

And hopefully New Orleans will make a comeback.

On a side note, how bout them Eagles Rohrya? Wink

Week 7

Baltimore @ Buffalo
Arizona @ Washington
Chicago @ Philadelphia
Pittsburgh @ Denver
Atlanta @ New Orleans
San Francisco @ New York Giants
New England @ Miami
Tennessee @ Houston
Tampa Bay @ Detroit
Kansas City @ Oakland
New York Jets @ Cincinnati
St. Louis @ Seattle
Minnesota @ Dallas
Indianapolis @ Jacksonville (Monday Night)

I'll say this right now, St. Louis is probably already dead in the water. Got any other bets on who wins?

Yay, Denver won!!

As for tonight, the Colts will probably beat the Jaguars, for those who are watching ESPN now and it'll be two teams in the whole league with a perfect record thus far.
