Nas To Play Free Concert At Virginia Tech

Personally I think picking a rapper like Nas for a concert memorial is a bad choice. Most rappers have a tendency to encourage violence in their raps and I don't think the Virginia Tech students are looking for that.

We need a concert for this? Seriously?

Why didn't they have a concert like a week after the incident?

As for Nas playing, I don't have a problem with it, matter of fact I haven't heard from him in a while.

I wouldn't let him play because he'd go on about trying to kill Jay-Z or something.

It would make sense for Nas not to rap at the concert. Most of the students there probably aren't turned on to lyrics like his and he likes to bring up some sort of violence too.
